ABOUT MAKE INFLUENCE

We build influencer marketing you can actually measure.

Make Influence was created for brands tired of guessing, expensive collaborations without data and marketing where no one knows what actually works.

We make influencer marketing performance-based, transparent and scalable — so brands can see exactly which creators drive traffic, sales and real value.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

Marketing should be documented.

€65M+ revenue generated through the platform
+930,000 sales tracked through the platform
€8M+ paid out to influencers
WHY WE EXIST

The market needed a better way.

Too much guessing

Brands were often paying for reach, followers and gut feeling — without being able to see the real impact.

Too little transparency

It was difficult to know which influencers were actually driving traffic, sales and value.

Poor incentives

When creators are rewarded for performance, the collaboration becomes more fair for both brands and influencers.

OUR METHOD

Test. Measure. Scale.

We do not believe influencer marketing should be a big bet without control.

Brands should be able to test collaborations, see the data and then scale the creators, campaigns and messages that actually perform.

01Find relevant creators
02Give them tracking and clear guidelines
03See traffic, sales and performance
04Scale what works
OUR PRINCIPLES

This is what guides the way we work.

Transparency

Brands should be able to see what they are paying for — and what they get in return.

Performance

We do not just build campaigns. We build channels that can create measurable growth.

Partnership

We win when our brands and creators win. That is the whole point.

Action

Influencer marketing only becomes powerful when it is structured and executed consistently.

DOCUMENTED SINCE 2020

Results beat nice words.

That is why we show our cases, numbers and results openly. Not because every brand will get the same result — but because you should be able to see what is possible when influencer marketing is done right.

The mechanics

What actually happens behind a collaboration.

The sections above describe the flow. This one explains the machinery underneath it — how a sale gets attributed to a creator, what you can agree to pay for, and where content and usage rights fit in. You do not need an account to read it.

1. How a sale is attributed to a creator

Every collaboration gives the creator their own tracking link. When someone clicks it, a cookie is stored in their browser for up to 30 days, so the sale is still attributed to that creator if the person comes back and buys later in the window.

Some apps open links in an internal browser that does not keep cookies between visits. For those clicks the IP address is used as a fallback and is kept for up to three months, so the sale is not lost.

Impressions, clicks and sales are then reported per piece of sponsored content — so the question “which creator, and which post, produced this revenue” has an actual answer rather than an estimate.

2. Who you are choosing between

Every creator on the platform is manually reviewed before they can apply to campaigns. Profiles carry audience data — including location and engagement — alongside their performance on previous campaigns.

You can publish a campaign and let creators apply to it, or go the other way and invite specific creators yourself. Campaign requirements control who can see and apply in the first place.

Once a creator has run one campaign with you, their own click and sales history becomes the strongest selection signal you have — better than any profile metric.

3. Discount codes — a second, independent path to attribution

The tracking link is the primary mechanism, and creators are always asked to send their followers through it. But a buyer who simply remembers the code and goes straight to your site — around the link entirely — would otherwise be invisible. Discount codes exist to catch exactly that sale, and they are set up per creator inside the platform.

Discount codesHow it actually works
Who creates themYou do, in the platform under Promo Codes → Add Promo Code. Creators cannot add their own code — the brand has to do it for them.
Unique per creatorYes. You select the specific creator when you create the code, so it can be a personal code rather than a general seasonal one.
How it paysYou set the compensation type on the code itself — a percentage per sale, or a fixed amount per sale. Set it to match what the campaign already pays, so the creator is not paid two different rates for the same work.
What it requiresThe code has to exist both in the platform and in your own webshop. Creating codes on the platform is supported for Shopify, WooCommerce, PrestaShop and Magento.
If it is not in the platformNothing is tracked on the code — only the link. You can still run a code, but then you have to tell creators plainly whether you will credit code-only sales manually.
Where code sales appearIn the Creator report, which is therefore the complete per-creator picture. They are not included in the Campaign report — worth knowing before you judge a campaign by that number alone.

What you can agree to pay for.

Compensation is set per campaign, and creators negotiate with you directly in the platform chat. Four structures are in ordinary use, and most performance-oriented collaborations end up as the fourth.

StructureWhat it meansWho carries the risk
Product onlyThe creator receives the product and no fee. Works for light, genuinely optional collaborations. The creator — which is why experienced creators decline it once deliverables, deadlines and usage rights are attached.
Fixed feeAn agreed amount for agreed deliverables, on an agreed date. The brand. You pay whether or not the content sells.
CommissionA share of the tracked sales, or a fixed amount per click or per sale. The creator. Good creators decline pure commission on an unproven product.
HybridA base fee plus commission, often with product included.Shared. The fee covers the work; the commission creates real upside if it performs.
Payouts are handled by the platform.

Earned commission is paid out to creators automatically, so you are not reconciling invoices from fifteen individuals at the end of a campaign. Top performers can also be given bonus compensation, or invited into private campaigns on better terms than the public one.

Content, usage rights and Performance UGC.

A collaboration produces content as well as reach. Whether you can keep using that content is a separate question from whether you paid for the post — and it is the single most common source of disputes in this industry.

Usage rights are agreed, never automatic

Paying a fee, or paying commission, does not in itself give you the right to run the creator’s content as a paid ad. That right is its own line in the agreement.

Agree up front which channels the content may run on, whether paid amplification is included, and for how long — 30, 60 and 90 days are common starting points, but the period is something the two sides settle, not a default.

Asking for paid-ad rights after the content has been delivered is the expensive version of this conversation, and it is entirely avoidable.

Performance UGC

There is a third way to structure a UGC deal, alongside paying up front and paying on the back end: the creator produces content for your paid ads, the collaboration carries tracking, and the creator earns the agreed commission on the sales that content helps drive.

It can be combined with a production fee — it is a way of sharing risk and upside, not a way of getting content for free.
