Make Influence looks different today than it did in the past. Today, we are building a more transparent, healthy and results-driven influencer marketing platform for brands and creators.

Make Influence has gone through a significant transformation.

The previous setup grew quickly, but it was not built on a sustainable foundation. That is why the new leadership chose to rebuild the company with a more focused organisation, a base in Aarhus and a clear goal.

We want to create a platform where influencer marketing becomes more transparent, more measurable and more fair for both brands and creators.

We are not trying to make influencer marketing more complicated. We are trying to make it more honest, measurable and useful.

RESPONSIBILITY AND TRUST

We chose fairness over profit.

When the previous owners went bankrupt, several influencers were left with earned amounts that were never paid out.

When the new leadership took over Make Influence, we did not take over the legal obligations from the bankruptcy estate. But we did take on something else: the responsibility to rebuild trust in the platform.

That is why we established a legacy programme, where affected influencers were given the opportunity to gradually receive part of their previous balance through continued activity on the platform.

In one year, we have paid out more than 3 million DKK in legacy amounts to affected influencers.

The legacy programme was built

We established a programme for affected influencers and began the work of rebuilding trust.

January 2025

Safer payment flow

We built a more secure payment flow for brands, influencers and the platform.

December 2025

Automatic upfront payment

We made it easier to handle fixed payments directly through the platform.

February 2026

UGC feature launched

Brands can now work more structured with creator content and usage rights.

New chat system

We made communication between brands and influencers more direct and efficient.

Summer 2026

New dashboard and AI assistant

+100 million DKK in revenue generated

We reached our first 100 million DKK in revenue generated by companies through the marketplace, and 14 million DKK in commission for the influencers.

First full time employee

We hired our first full time employees, and by the end of the year we had grown into a team of 13 passionate and community driven professionals from all over Denmark.

First customer and thousands of influencers

We started helping our first customers with managing their influencer campaigns, and in a few weeks we received thousands of requests from influencers to access the marketplace.

2018

First performance based platform for influencers.

After many demos, countless tests and a lot of late-night pizzas, our founders  laid the groundwork for Makeinfluence.com. In August 2018, the team's dedicated developers began building the first performance-based platform for influencers in Denmark.
